December 18th.
Just came home from a memorial/funeral service for a dear friend, Dixie Eggison, who passed away at the age of 96 years 1 day. A beautiful lady who knew and loved the Lord, and served Him every day.
Wanted to add just a few more lines to my yesterday blog about cleaning the living room carpet. On Saturday morning, the carpet was still damp, but Donna wanted me to be able to sit and read my Bible and newspaper, so brought in a tv stand. I put my coffee on it, and within 5 minutes had already spilled coffee. Not sure how much landed on the carpet, but I quickly cleaned it up.
Then the next day while eating pizza with Peggy,Dave & Donna, my piece of pizza flipped off my plate and landed, yep, upside down on the carpet and left a new stain under my recliner. Oh the joys of being husband/dad/friend........ It has been cleaned up now, and all I think is well.
