One year later....thought I was done posting, but think another is in order. Our European trip in 2009 was a tremendous highlight in my life. I have relived that trip many, many times and will do so again and again.

Right now, we are planning our next trip across the waters, this time we think again into Germany and Ireland. Have lots of research to do yet on my fathers side to find where in Ireland they were from. Know its in the Belfast area, but need to pin it down.

This spring we have traveled to Las Vegas to a great nieces high school graduation. The two days down and two days back was lots of sitting and viewing the scenery. The casinos in Vegas have no appeal to me at all any more. The times with family and friends were the highlights for Donna and I.

Then last week we just returned from a two week vacation in the midwest. Flew to K.C., where daughter, son in law, and grandson picked us up, drove to my brothers place in Iowa where we stayed for 4 nights. Were going to have one more day there, but a death in my daughters church cut our time a bit, as we traveled to Missouri for a graveside burial service.

On to Newton where we had 7 nights and days with family there. Took in a Double AA baseball game with our youngest grandson, the Wichita Wing Nuts. Had a fun time there, and I got to toss a ball around with Micah, just the two of us one afternoon, fun.

Am busy trying to improve the looks around the house with some new bark dust, and some weed pulling. May blog again in another week.
