Can you believe it, its Friday already, where has the week gone too? Actually on some days, when theres not much to do, I can find myself sitting in my recliner, snoozing away. Of course I look at the clock, and if its 1:15, I'll say to myself, that I'll only snooze till the clock strikes two. And sometimes, I don't hear it strike at all, and I awake at 2:45 or 3:00. I can do that you know, cause I am retired.
Its been a full week for Donna, work on Monday & Wednesday, shopping with Breanna & Sue on Tuesday, shopping with Andrew, Breanna & Sue on Thursday, and today was a doctors appointment. Hopefully her ear is getting better, using some powerful eardrops again.
I spent some time yesterday & again today at Laura's house, pulling nails in lathe & bundling the ones that are clean, then I put the rest on the lathe pile on the patio, and cleaned up the plaster before the city inspector came to sign off on the demolition. He was perplexed as to why a permit was taken out for the demolition. Usually its a part of remodel permit. He wonders if someone is trying to make a bit of extra money, city or architect? hmmmmm
Will take my Chevy S-10 in Monday for engine replacement. I knew the oil needed changed but I kept putting it off and now I will pay for the neglect. Won't know total bill till later but the used engine is $850.00, ouch!
Well, enough for tonight, its 10:30, time to finish the news and head for bed. Donna has stamp club in the morning, so I'll putter in the shop, I think
